TRANSLINE TRL - Inline Machining
Designed for maximum flexibility, the Transline TRL is essentially an assembly of units operating horizontally, vertically or skew. Pieces are transferred on pallets, and the work stations can be equipped with rotary "satellite" tables capable of positioning the pallet, and therefore the work, at any given angle relative to its vertical axis.

The Transline TRL is ideal for complex pieces requiring a considerable number of machining operations and tools, and which need to be turned out in volumes dictating a tight cycle time.

Produced in three versions:
  • 286 mm. pitch - CNC y and z axes with fixed x axis and non-rotating pallets.
  • 480 mm. pitch - CNC x, y and z axes with CNC-programmable indexing pallet rotation (Hirth).
  • 572 mm. pitch - CNC x, y and z axis with hydraulically controlled pallet rotation.
Pallets are slidable on hardened and ground ways utilizing a drive system with two chains, one for transfer from station to station, one for fast return to loading station.

Pieces are machinable on all sides except the clamped side.
Two work units per station:
  • both horizontal axis, mutually opposed.
  • one horizontal axis, one vertical or skew axis.
Types of unit including single or double spindle, motorized spindle, 6-spindle revolver and other multi-spindle tool turrets. Spindles designed to allow through-the-spindle coolant flow.
