| MULTIMILL FDC7 |
 |
The key milling and backrounding machine Multimill FDC 7-1 mills a profile on both sides of the key blank anc backrounds one side of the key blade.
Keys can be maunally fed into the machine froma vertical magazines or automatically from a vibratory bowl feeder. Keys are machined along the blade, by means of two opposed cutters mounted on two indipendently adjustable spindles. The diameter range of the profile cutters is 35-50 mm.
After the milling operation along the key blade is performed using a milling cutter while simultaneously the profile is being milled on the following key.
Keys are automatically unloaded into a collection box. Machining is normally done with coolant.
Dry machining is possible upon request providing a chip extraction unit (optional) is installed.
Upon request a pair of cams can be assembled to allow key tip chamfering.
