Due to the changes in the western production and the shift of production volumes to the far east, the request to the machine tool builders
was to develop a machine to meet new requirements, to allow the western production companies to stay competitive on the market.
Giuliani listened to those request and concentrated its efforts on research into innovative and improved solutions to the growing need to
combine maximum flexibility with high output. This mix of characteristics is increasingly necessary today, to penetrate markets that are more
demanding in terms of quality, many changeovers to different parts, simultaneous engineering and constant need to reduce production costs.
The F-Cell is the latest machine to Giuliani's line of production metal cutting equipment, designed to guarantee amazing versatility in the
production of low and medium lots of complex parts, when high precision machining and top quality finish are required.
A variety of factors contribute to the F-Cell's great flexibility. The pallet mounted fixtures and up to 5 CNC axis per station (3 axes per
station plus rotating and tilting clamp). The tool magazine holding 9 tools per station is giving a very high flexibility with short part
changeover times.
This versatility makes it possible to produce part families of wide-ranging complexity in extremely short machining times.
The F-Cell is the perfect choice for machining low and medium volume lots, combining all the benefits of a high productivity machine.
Eliminating idle times and the costs associated with complicated re-tooling, the F-Cell's exceptional mix of features guarantees the lowest
possible piece part price.
